The Button Factory Woodfire Grille
We will be open this Sunday, April 15th, from 10am to 7pm for people attending the Shell Games program and book signing. The book Shell Games graphically portrays one of the most important battles for safe and humane working conditions seen thru the eyes an unlikely teen heroine Pearl McGill, who stood heroically against unjust working conditions around her in the 20th century pearl button industry in Muscatine. Against a backdrop of murder, romance, intrigue, and industrial labor conflict the author, Jeff Copeland, will be at the Muscatine Historical and Industrial Center this Sunday for a Shell Games Program and Book Signing starting at 2pm.
The Button Factory Woodfire Grille offers casual dining and friendly service in the relaxing ambiance of a renovated button factory. Whether dining on our outdoor deck, our large screened porch, or inside the restaurant, the views of the mighty Mississippi River are spectacular.
